Y noeth, y tlawd, a'r llwythog sy
'N och'neidio tua'r nefoedd fry,
A'r cystuddiedig gwael ei lun,
Wna Iesu'n briod iddo'i hun.
Newyddion da er seiliad byd
A roed yn nghadw i'r rhai'n i gyd:
A phan addfedo awr y Tad,
Dadguddir iddynt oll yn rhad.
I'r rhai'n mae
rhagorfreintiau'i waed,
I'r rhai'n mae cyflawn wir iachâd,
I'r rhai'n mae heddwch llawn ryw bryd -
Rhyddhâd oddi wrth anfeidrol lid.
Galarwyr Seion sydd yn awr
Yn griddfan yn y cystudd mawr,
Na wylwch mwy - newyddion mae
A bair i'ch calon lawenhau.
Am hyn dyrchefwch fyny fry,
Cydseiniwch â'r angylaidd lu;
Tra byddoch byw na foed eich son
Ond am rinweddau
gwaed yr Oen.

Tonau [MH 8888]: gwelir: O Arglwydd gad im' dy fwynhau Pwy ydwy hon sy'n llesg a gwan? |
The naked, the poor, and the burdened is
Groaning towards the heavens above,
And the afflicted of an abject condition,
Makes Jesus a spouse for himself.
Good news since the foundation of the world
Which he gave in keeping to all those:
And when the Father's hour matures,
To be revealed to them all freely.
To those there is
the supreme privilege of his blood,
To those there is the full, true healing,
To those there is full peace some time -
Freedom from immeasurable wrath.
Mourners of Zion who are are now
Groaning in the great tribulation,
Weep ye no more - there is news
Which shall cause your heart to rejoice.
Therefore raise up above,
Sound together with the angelic host;
While ever ye live let not your mention be
But about the merits
of the blood of the Lamb.
